Uncropped versus Contour Cut Photo

Uncropped images include the entire image as uploaded by you. We simply reproduce the image in its entirety. Contour cutting involves outlining only the areas you want to remain in the photo and removing the rest.

For example, Picture A is the original photo and is considered uncropped. Picture B has a contour cut. To ensure the best results, you should include a detailed description of what you want in the special instructions: “Please eliminate the background and leave only the boy running.”

Border versus No Border

For the Reusable Vinyl and Laminated Vinyl Products, our standard delivery includes the white border outline. Please see the examples below for style choices. For more detail on why we use contour borders please click here.

Picture C is an example of the ThinTwin with no border. Picture D shows the same photo with the white border.

If you are ordering the Reusable Vinyl and/or Laminated Vinyl Products, please specify in the special instructions box which type whether you want the white border or no border. If no instruction is given, a white border will be used.
